# Remove ReTestimonial branding

Hide the "Powered by" badge on your widgets, Walls of Love and forms, and choose whether share pages and video embeds show one.

What you publish with ReTestimonial carries a small badge that links to our site: "Powered by ReTestimonial", or on some surfaces "Collect testimonials with ReTestimonial". You can hide it on Pro, Premium and Business. On Free it always shows, and its switches are locked.

Each widget, Wall of Love and form has its own switch, and share pages and video embeds share one in your project settings. The workspace owner and the project's Admins can change them.

1. **Widgets**

   Open the widget in the builder and go to the **Settings** tab. Turn off **Branding badge**, the switch for the badge below the widget. The builder saves the change to the live widget, and your site picks it up shortly. Do this for each widget.

2. **Walls of Love**

   Open the wall in the builder and go to the **Design** tab. Turn off **Branding badge**. It hides the badge on both the wall's page and its embed.

3. **Forms**

   Open the form in the form builder and go to the **Design** tab. Under **Branding**, turn off the **Branding** switch. Edits save straight to the live form. The rest of that tab is in [Design your form](/help/collect/design-your-form).

4. **Share pages and video embeds**

   In your project, click the gear icon next to the project's name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click **Powered By**. The switch **Show badges on share pages and video embeds** covers each testimonial's share page and the video player from **Embed video**.

   On paid plans the switch starts off, so these show no badge. Turn it on only if you want the badge there, then click **Save changes**. Live badges can take a few minutes to update.

## Emails

The emails your project sends to your customers end with a "Powered by ReTestimonial" line: the emails your forms send them, reward emails and Smart Invite emails. Removing it is on Business; on other plans it stays. The alerts we send to you carry our name at the top and never show the line.

- **Form and reward emails:** in project settings, open **Notifications**, turn off **Show ReTestimonial attribution** under **Email Branding** and click **Save Changes**. The rest of that tab is in [Set up the emails a project sends](/help/account/set-up-project-emails).
- **Smart Invite emails:** each template has its own **Show "Powered by ReTestimonial"** switch on its **Settings** tab. See [Customize your invite emails](/help/collect/customize-invite-emails).

If you change to a plan without this, the line comes back in every email sent from then on, whatever the switches say.

## Images and social videos

These have no switch. Images made on Free carry a small "Made with ReTestimonial" mark, and so do social videos exported on Free. Other plans don't add one. See [Create testimonial images](/help/create/create-testimonial-images) and [Social videos](/help/create/social-videos).

## Earn from your badges (partners)

If you're in the ReTestimonial partner program, badges you keep can earn you referrals. On the **Powered By** tab, paste your key or your referral link (the one with `?via=`) under **Your partner key** and click **Save changes**. The key is checked with the partner program, then used by every badge in the project that's showing. **Disconnect** removes it. **Open partner portal** is where you track referrals, and **Join the partner program** appears when no key is saved.

Partner keys work on Pro, Premium and Business. On Free a saved key is kept, but the badges don't use it until you upgrade.

## What happens next

If your workspace moves to Free, the badge comes back everywhere, whatever the switches say. After you upgrade again, check each switch.
