# Embed a widget on Webflow

Add your widget to a Webflow page with a Code Embed element, then publish your site so visitors can see your testimonials.

Webflow shows a ReTestimonial widget through its **Code Embed** element, which holds custom HTML and scripts anywhere in your layout. You copy the widget's code once, paste it into the element and publish your site.

> **Note:** Webflow lets you use the Code Embed element if your site has an active Site plan, or if you have a Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer Workspace.

1. **Copy your widget's embed code**

In the widget builder, click **Get code**. Click **Publish and copy code**, or **Copy code** if the widget is already published. If you haven't made a widget yet, start with [Embed a widget on any website](/help/display/embed-a-widget-on-any-website).

2. **Add a Code Embed element**

Open your site in the Webflow Designer and go to the page where the widget belongs. Open the **Add** panel and add a **Code Embed** element to the canvas where you want the widget to appear. It's in the panel's Advanced section.

3. **Paste the code and save**

Paste the code into the element's code editor without changing it. Include all of it, down to the closing `</script>` tag. Then save and close the editor.

4. **Publish and check it**

On the canvas, the element shows a placeholder instead of your widget. Publish your site, then open the published page to check the widget. To test before going live, publish to your webflow\.io staging domain and check it there.

## Good to know

- **Set the width and spacing in Webflow.** Put the Code Embed element inside a Container or Div, and style that to control the widget's width, margins and behaviour at each breakpoint.
- **Change the widget's design in ReTestimonial.** The widget draws itself in its own isolated area, so your Webflow classes don't restyle it. Once the widget is published, the changes you make in the builder reach your Webflow page with the same code.
- **Floating widgets can go anywhere on the page.** **Floating Proof** widgets, the **Floating Proof Tab** badge and the Video type's **Floating CTA** style attach to the browser window, not to the spot where you paste the code. To show one on every page, paste its code into your site-wide footer code instead: in Webflow, open **Site settings**, then the **Custom code** tab, add the code to **Footer code**, click **Save changes** and publish.
- **Several widgets can share a page.** Give each one its own Code Embed element.
- **Keep Script selected.** If the **Get code** dialog offers **Script** and **Iframe / Embed URL**, keep **Script**, the default. It works in a Code Embed element, and some styles only work with it. See [Script or iframe](/help/display/embed-a-widget-on-any-website#script-or-iframe).
- **A Wall of Love works the same way.** It has its own embed code, which you add with these same steps. See [Embed a Wall of Love on your website](/help/display/embed-a-wall-of-love).
