Proof Impact erasure, a hero video poster, and three fixes

Erase a customer's Proof Impact data from the Tracking tab, a poster for the Wall of Love hero video, and three fixes for walls and review platforms.

Erase one person's Proof Impact data

When one of your customers asks to be erased, open the Tracking tab of Proof Impact and use Erase one person's data: enter the customer or account ID your site passes to identify() for them, and a reason. Every identity linked to that ID is deleted, and the ID is blocked so it isn't linked again. Their conversions stay in your totals, no longer linked to anyone. After a move to a plan without Proof Impact, the form stays on the Proof Impact page while the project still holds its data. See Proof Impact.

Choose a poster for your wall's hero video

When your Wall of Love page's hero has a video background, Poster image in the builder's Hosted Page tab sets the picture shown while the video loads. Once you've chosen one, Hide video on mobile shows it on phones in the video's place. See Design your Wall of Love page.

Wall of Love

  • A background image or video you upload now shows on your published wall. A file dropped or chosen from your computer for the hero, the page or the embed showed in the builder but never reached your visitors. It's now uploaded to your project's Files, as one picked with Browse Files always was, within your plan's file size and storage limits. See Design your Wall of Love page.
  • Hide video on mobile no longer leaves the hero empty on phones. With no way to choose a poster, phones showed neither the video nor a picture. The switch now needs a poster, and without one phones play the video. See Design your Wall of Love page.

Review platforms

  • At your plan's limit of connected listings, the message now says what you can do. Connecting one more Capterra, G2, Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Product Hunt or Booking.com listing than your plan allows said to upgrade even when no higher plan connects more; in that case it now says to disconnect one to connect another.
