New

Images from 22 designs, in every size

The image editor now starts from designs, each made for one thing: a quote, a number the customer states, your project's rating, several quotes, a poster of a video testimonial, a swipeable carousel, or the customer's photos. Fits this testimonial shows the designs that suit the testimonial you chose, drawn with its own words, and a design that can't show it stays in the list with the reason. Every design lays itself out again for each size, from Square and Story to Link preview, so its text stays readable on a phone. See Create testimonial images.

When a quote is too long, Shorten offers parts of the customer's own words that read on their own; nothing is reworded. The Post text tab writes a post and alt text to paste beside the image. A new design takes your brand kit's colour and font, and your workspace logo when your plan includes one; on Business an image can show a stored translation of its testimonial. On a phone, the editor is three steps over the image. See Create testimonial images.

Under Share, export every size of a design as one ZIP, the same design for up to 20 testimonials, or a carousel's slides as a PDF for LinkedIn or as images for Instagram. The last ten designs you exported wait under Recent designs. A template you saved on one of the earlier fixed-size templates now opens on the default design. See Create testimonial images.

Improved

A tidier inbox card

The top of each card now says what the testimonial is and where it came from, on one line: its type, its source with the business or listing (Google · Missouri Botanical Garden), translations and tags. Its theme and AI score moved under Show more, into an AI reading section that also shows its sentiment, use case, feature and recommended asset. See Analyze your testimonials with Proof Intelligence.

The walls a testimonial is on are shown by the heart on its card: filled on a wall, with a number on more than one, and the walls' names when you point at it. In the heart's list, a wall the testimonial is on says Shown, and Remove under the pointer. See Choose and order the testimonials on a Wall of Love.

Email settings that show the email

A project's Notifications tab lists its four emails in two groups, To your team and To your customers, each saying whether it's on, who gets it, and whether you changed its text. Open one to write its Subject and Message beside a preview of the whole email, with your message outlined. Insert tag offers only the tags that email fills, your custom fields among them by name, and Reset to default puts our text back. The message is the short paragraph under the email's headline, and it may be empty. See Set up the emails a project sends.

The new testimonial alert is written for you, with a subject such as "Jane Smith sent a video testimonial". You choose who gets it, the workspace owner and up to 20 other addresses, and can add a Subject prefix for your mail filters. One Replies go to address now covers every email your customers get from the project, the email code and reward emails included, and a form can set its own. Changes wait in a bar at the bottom of the screen until you save or discard them. See Set up the emails a project sends.

In the form builder, each email now has one choice: Project setting, On for this form or Off for this form. An email you turn on for a form keeps the project's text until you edit it there, and Use the project's text puts it back. See Set up the emails a project sends.

Fixed

Inbox

  • An image or video opened from a card has one close button. Two were drawn in the same corner. In the inbox's image viewer the one left is round and dark, so it shows on a bright photo, a counter says which image you're on, and the arrow keys move between images. See Approve, reject and archive testimonials.
  • The type label keeps its colours under the pointer. An approved label turned coral with green text. See Approve, reject and archive testimonials.
  • Additional Information shows only when a custom field has a value. On a testimonial with none filled in, the heading stood alone under Show more. See Custom fields.

Project emails

  • A second address can be typed in the new testimonial email's recipients. The comma after the first address disappeared as soon as it was typed. See Set up the emails a project sends.
  • A Reply-To address you empty stays empty once you save. The old address came back after a reload. See Set up the emails a project sends.
  • The email preview shows your own project. It named a sample company and listed two made-up answers; it now uses your project's name and custom fields, and shows a share button only while your share pages are on. See Set up the emails a project sends.
  • The new testimonial email's preview shows both versions. Switch between the email for a testimonial waiting for your approval and the one a form that publishes straight away sends. See Set up the emails a project sends.
  • Email texts you leave as they are follow our defaults. Saving the Notifications tab stored a copy of every default text, so later improvements to them never reached your emails. See Set up the emails a project sends.
