Analyze your testimonials with Proof Intelligence
Start AI analysis for every testimonial that's waiting, run one again, see why Start Analysis is greyed out and find the ones that failed.
To analyze every testimonial that's waiting, open your project's inbox, click Proof AI in the toolbar, then Start Analysis. Each analysis uses 1 AI credit. Testimonials are analyzed on their own, a backlog in batches, so you need this only to queue everything at once, to retry the ones that failed, or when automatic analysis is switched off for the project.
Proof Intelligence is on Premium and Business. The workspace owner and the project's Admins and Members can start an analysis; Viewers can't.
Open Proof AI
In your project's sidebar, open Pending or Approved and click Proof AI in the toolbar above the list. The percentage on the button is the share of your testimonials that's analyzed. In a narrow window or on a phone, the button shows only its icon and that percentage.
See what's waiting
Analysis Coverage counts the analyzed testimonials out of all those on Pending and Approved together. Archived testimonials and spam aren't counted. Under the bar, badges count the rest:
- missing: not analyzed yet.
- stale: the testimonial changed after its analysis. One you only approved or tagged shows here too, until it's brought up to date with no credit used: by itself within a few minutes when automatic analysis is on, or by Start Analysis.
- failed: the last analysis didn't finish, and its credit was returned.
The project's Insights page shows the same total as Needs Analysis and its cost as Backfill Cost. To act on them, click View Inbox there, then Proof AI.
Start the analysis
Click Start Analysis; it reads Resume Analysis once some testimonials are analyzed. The number on the button is what the run costs: 1 credit for each waiting testimonial that needs a new analysis. One that's stale only because you approved or tagged it costs nothing, and a line under the button says how many of those there are; when nothing waiting needs a credit, the button reads no credits. Below it, Purchased Wallet, Monthly Included and Project Allocated add up to what this project can spend: see What Purchased Wallet, Monthly Included and Project Allocated mean.
One click queues everything that's waiting, and you see "Queued 12 testimonial(s) for analysis" with your own number. It always covers the whole project: you can't run it for only the testimonials you select. The analysis then runs in the background, a batch at a time: a few minutes for a handful of testimonials, longer for hundreds.
See the results
While the run is going, the page keeps itself up to date: the percentage on Proof AI rises, and when the last analysis ends the list reloads. Each analyzed testimonial's card then shows its Theme and AI Score. For the whole analysis of one testimonial, open Approved, click Show more on its card, then AI and View AI insights. What it finds in a testimonial explains each field.
If Start Analysis is greyed out
A line under the button says why:
- "Nothing is waiting for analysis." Every testimonial on Pending and Approved is analyzed and up to date.
- A line that starts "Analysis needs". The project has fewer credits than the run needs; the line gives both numbers and how many are missing. Testimonials that cost nothing to bring up to date aren't counted in it. The button analyzes everything in one go, so it stays off until the project has enough for all of it. The workspace owner and Admins see Buy AI Credits and Manage AI Budget beside it; a Member is told to ask a teammate with project settings access. See Buy and manage AI credits. Meanwhile, while the project has a credit, Reanalyze analyzes one approved testimonial at a time.
If the window has no Start Analysis button at all, you're a Viewer on this project. Viewers see the coverage, but can't start an analysis. If Proof AI itself stays greyed out, or reads Upgrade for AI, the workspace's plan doesn't include Proof Intelligence.
Analyze one testimonial again
On Approved, click Show more on the testimonial, open its AI menu and click Reanalyze. The menu shows what each action costs, and a box asks you to confirm before any credit is used. Then "Reanalysis queued" appears, and the testimonial's Proof Intelligence window opens; the window has the same button. The new analysis replaces the old one, usually within a few minutes.
Reanalyze uses 1 credit every time you confirm it, even when the testimonial hasn't changed. With no credits left, it stops with "Insufficient AI credits". It also works when the window says No analysis yet; the "project backfill" that message mentions is Start Analysis.
You don't need it after an edit: when what a testimonial says changes, its analysis runs again automatically, for another credit. See How analysis runs. Testimonials on Pending have no AI menu, so they're analyzed automatically or with Start Analysis.
Find the testimonials that aren't analyzed
In the inbox, click + Filter and choose Analysis state. Not analyzed lists the testimonials with no analysis yet, Stale the ones that changed after their analysis, Failed the ones whose last analysis failed, and Analyzed the ones that are up to date. They're the same groups the Proof AI window counts. A failed analysis is retried a few times by itself; to retry it now, use Resume Analysis or Reanalyze. See Filter and search your inbox.
What happens next
Testimonials keep being analyzed on their own, for 1 credit each: new ones as they arrive, and whatever is still waiting in batches. To stop that for this project, switch Analyze testimonials automatically off in the Proof AI window: see Automatic analysis uses credits on its own.
With your testimonials analyzed, you can:
- Filter and search your inbox: filter by Sentiment, Theme, Feature or Use case, and sort by AI score.
- Fill a widget automatically with auto-sync: let a widget choose testimonials by their analysis.
- Testimonial insights: the patterns across the project, which Full Insights in the Proof AI window opens.
- Create a case study from a testimonial.
