Setup for new projects, a redesigned Billing page, and six fixes
A Setup page that takes a new project to testimonials on your own site, a redesigned Billing page, copies between projects, and six fixes.
New
A Setup page that takes a new project to proof on your site
A new project now opens on a Setup page, Get your proof live. It lists four steps: get a testimonial, publish a widget, add it to your site and approve what arrives. One click makes your collection form and gives you its link with a short message to send, and one click makes and publishes a widget. Each step ticks by itself when it has happened, the last when your widget is first seen on your own site.
When you create a project you're asked Where is your proof today?, and the steps start from your answer: asking customers, adding what you have in emails and chats, importing from another tool, or bringing in your Google reviews. You can change the answer later, or hide Setup altogether. The empty inbox of a new project leads with the same way in.
The workspace owner and Admins see Setup. See Set up your project and get your proof live.
Example testimonials while a widget is still empty
A widget with nothing to show used to open on an empty preview in its builder. Unless it's a Video widget, it now draws example testimonials there, with a line that says so, so you can choose a layout and a design before your first testimonial is approved. They're never saved or published, and your own replace them as soon as the widget has one. See Customize a widget.
Improved
The Billing page, redesigned
Overview is now one card: your plan, your next payment and its date, and your project licences, team seats and price, each with the one action that belongs to it. Under it are this month's usage and your balances. A row asks for your attention only when an allowance is nearly or fully used, or a project is read-only.
The Plans & capacity tab is now called Plan. Free is in the plan list, your plan is tagged Current plan, and the summary shows each change as old and new, beside Review change. The review opens as a dialog in front of you, with what's due today. For a lower plan it lists what's no longer included and what's reduced. Cancelling is one dialog that lists the same, opened by Cancel subscription on Overview or under the plan list.
Usage now separates what resets every month from your plan's limits. It adds social video exports and a row for each project, with its testimonials, videos, widgets, forms, Walls of Love and storage. On Credits, AI credits shows what you can spend now, included and purchased together. Activity says where each AI credit was paid from, folds a bulk run into one row, and shows times in your own time zone. See Plans and pricing.
Copying a testimonial to another project
A copy made with Duplicate to other projects now keeps its source: a copied Google review is still a Google review in the other project, with its badge and under the same source filter. It also takes its translations with it.
The window lists the projects you can copy into, and shows one that can't take the copy with the reason, such as a read-only project. A project takes one copy of a testimonial, so a second copy into the same project is no longer made. A project in another workspace is offered only to the owner and the Admins of the testimonial's project. See Copy a testimonial to another project.
Pages that say what they need, and what your plan includes
While a project has no approved testimonial, the Widgets, Images and Videos pages say so in one line, with Get your first testimonial. In the sidebar, every page your plan doesn't include is marked with a lock and the plans that have it, as Invites was. The Choose Widget Type dialog marks the types your plan doesn't include, where it used to refuse them after you'd picked a style and a name. See Choose a widget type.
A widget with nothing to show stays out of the way
A published widget that has no testimonial to show now draws nothing on your page. Most styles used to show a message such as No testimonials to display there. So you can add a widget's code to your site before your first testimonial is approved: once one is, the widget shows it on the next visit to the page, which can take a few minutes. See Widget not showing on your website.
Up to 10 images on a testimonial
A text testimonial now holds up to 10 images, however it reaches your project. The windows for adding and editing a testimonial took three. An import from Google, from a social post or from a file had no limit at all, so one review could arrive with dozens of photos.
An import keeps the first 10 images of a review or a post, and a file import marks the rows it shortened in its preview. A form still takes up to three from each customer.

Billing
- The plan list fits a phone. On a narrow screen the plans ran off their card and the page scrolled sideways. See Change your plan, project licences or seats.
- Usage shows your plan's Proof Impact views. On a plan with Proof Impact it could read "0 included" for a new project, or at the start of a month, until the day's count had run. See Plan limits.
- The list of credit transactions keeps up. It loaded once and stayed as it was after a purchase or a spend, while the balances above it changed. See Buy and manage AI credits.
- The notice after you buy credits or add rewards funds says what was added. "Credit payment received" appeared whether or not the payment had gone through, and asked you to refresh the page. The page now waits for the payment to be confirmed, then says what was added and gives your new balance. See Buy and manage AI credits.
Inbox
- The Duplicate to other projects window says when its list couldn't be loaded. It showed "No other projects available" instead, as if there were nowhere to copy to. See Copy a testimonial to another project.
- A copy that can't be made gives a reason in plain words. Copying a social post into a project that already had it showed a technical error message. See Copy a testimonial to another project.
