Buy invitation credits
Buy a pack of invitation credits on the Billing page to keep sending Smart Invites after a project's monthly allowance is used up.
Once a project has used its Smart Invites for the month, new invites use invitation credits. The workspace owner buys them on the Billing page, in packs from $14.99 for 100 Invitations. They never expire, and every project in the workspace shares them. Smart Invites is on Premium and Business.
Open the Credits tab
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and choose Billing, then open the Credits tab. Under Credit Balances, Invitation Credits shows how many credits you have.
From a project, Add invite credits on the Invites this month card opens the same tab. That button shows only when the project's allowance is nearly or fully used and the workspace has no credits.
Choose a pack
Click Buy next to Invitation Credits. In Purchase Invitation Credits, pick a pack. See Pack sizes and prices.
Pay
Click Purchase and pay on the secure checkout page. It shows the tax and your total before you pay.
Back on Billing, a Credit payment received notice appears. Your credits are added as soon as the payment is confirmed, so refresh the page if the balance hasn't changed yet. If you leave checkout without paying, Credit purchase cancelled appears and no credits are added.
Pack sizes and prices
| Pack | Price |
|---|---|
| 100 Invitations | $14.99 |
| 500 Invitations | $59.99 |
| 1,000 Invitations | $99.99 |
One invitation is one credit. The two larger packs cost less per invitation, and a badge on each shows the saving. Prices don't include tax.
Who can buy invitation credits
Only the workspace owner: the Billing page always shows the workspace you own. If you're a teammate in someone else's workspace, credits you buy go to your own workspace, and their projects can't use them. Ask the workspace owner instead.
On a plan without Smart Invites, the Credits tab shows Upgrade in place of Buy.
Do invitation credits expire?
No. Invitation credits never expire and never reset: the ones you don't use stay in your balance from month to month. Only each project's monthly allowance resets, at the start of every calendar month (UTC).
When credits are used
Each project has its own monthly allowance: 500 invites on Premium and 1,000 on Business. A project uses its allowance first, and credits only once the allowance is gone. An import that needs more than the allowance has left takes the rest from credits.
- One credit is one customer added to a sequence. Reminders and restarts don't use more: see What counts as an invite.
- Credits belong to the workspace. Every project uses the same balance, whichever teammate adds the customer. Unlike AI credits, they can't be set aside for one project.
Where to see your balance and purchases
- Invitation Credits, under Credit Balances on the Credits tab, is your balance.
- Recent transactions, on the same tab, shows your last 50 transactions. A pack you bought reads "Invite credits purchase", and a use of credits shows the customer's address or the file's name. Invites that came out of a monthly allowance aren't listed.
- In a project, the Invites this month card on the Overview tab of Invites shows your balance as "extra credits", when you have any.
- For receipts, see Where do I find my invoices and receipts?
If you change plan, cancel or delete your workspace
- On a plan without Smart Invites, which includes Free once a cancellation takes effect, your credits stay in your balance. You can't use them or buy more until you move back to a plan with Smart Invites.
- Deleting your workspace deletes its credits. The delete dialog lists them and asks you to confirm. They can't be withdrawn or moved to another workspace. See Delete your workspace and account.
Refunds for invitation credits
Credit packs aren't covered by the first-payment guarantee in our refund policy. If you were charged twice or by mistake, or a pack you paid for hasn't reached your balance, contact us.
What happens next
There's nothing to switch on: your credits are used whenever a project goes past its allowance. If the allowance and the credits both run out, new customers aren't invited, and a customer who arrives by webhook in that time isn't invited later either: see Monthly allowance and invite credits.
