Wall of Love
What a Wall of Love is, how its hosted page and its embed work, what each builder tab changes and how many walls each plan includes.
A Wall of Love is a page of your best testimonials. Every wall works two ways: as a hosted page with its own link you can share, and as an embed you paste into your own website. You design both in one builder.
Every new project comes with a wall named Wall of Love already set up. It stays a draft until you publish it. Your walls are on the Wall of Love page, in the Share section of your project's sidebar. Only the workspace owner and project Admins see it.
The hosted page and the embed
One wall gives you both, with the same testimonials and the same card design:
- The hosted page is a page of its own, with a link you can share. Around the testimonials it can have a header, a hero, filters and a closing call to action. See Design your Wall of Love page.
- The embed shows the wall inside a page of your own website. You copy its code and paste it into your site. See Embed a Wall of Love on your website.
Each has a layout of its own, so the hosted page can be a masonry of cards while the embed is a carousel.
The builder's tabs
A badge under the tabs tells you whether a change affects the hosted page, the embed or both.
| Tab | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Content | Which testimonials appear, and their Order: see Choose and order the testimonials on a Wall of Love. Affects both. |
| Design | Theme & Background, Global Colors, each part of a card, such as Card, Quote / Body and Rating, and the Branding badge. Affects both. |
| Hosted Page | The page: its Layout (Masonry, Grid or One column), Header, Hero, Filters, Closing call to action, Page address, Search & social preview and more. Two of its settings apply to the embed too: Translations and Review stars in results. |
| Embed | The embed only: its Layout (Masonry, Grid or Carousel), columns or slides, motion, Size & fit, Heading and Custom JavaScript. |
The wall's link and its embed code aren't on a tab. Open Share in the builder's top bar for Copy link, Open live page and Embed code…. While something stands in the way of sharing, such as a wall that's still a draft, the menu also shows how many things to fix: click that line to see them and jump to each one.
Only approved testimonials appear on a wall. You can also add or feature one from your inbox, with the heart on its card: see Choose and order the testimonials on a Wall of Love.
Your tag names stay private unless the wall shows them. A wall publishes tags only when Show tags is on in the Design tab, or when the Hosted Page tab's Filters has Tags switched on. With both off, visitors and the embed never receive them.
Drafts and publishing
A wall is a draft until you publish it, and a draft is private: visitors can't open its link, and its embed shows nothing. To look at a draft yourself, choose Preview draft in the menu on the wall's card. Once a wall is published, your edits go live as they save, with no separate draft to publish.
- Create and publish a Wall of Love has the steps, and how to look at a draft first.
- Manage your walls covers taking a wall offline, the default wall and deleting a wall.
The picture on each wall's card
Each wall's card on the Wall of Love page shows a picture of the top of its hosted page, drafts included. See The picture on each wall's card for when it's taken and what it shows.
Which plans include it
Every plan includes Walls of Love. The number of walls per project depends on your plan: 1 on Free, 1 on Pro, 5 on Premium and unlimited on Business. The wall each project starts with counts too.
Some parts of a wall need a higher plan, such as custom cards (Premium and Business) and showing a wall in your visitor's language (Business). See Plan limits.
