Do I need any video-editing skills?
No. Pick a testimonial, pick one of the 18 templates, and hit render — the studio has four tabs (Template, Design, Audio, Branding) with sensible defaults, so most videos ship without touching a single setting. There's no timeline to scrub and nothing to keyframe.
Where do the videos come from?
Any testimonial already in your ReTestimonial inbox — collected with your forms, imported from CSV, captured with the browser extension, or synced from review platforms. Written testimonials become animated quote cards, video testimonials become captioned social cuts, and testimonials with attached photos get image-led templates.
How do captions work?
Captions are generated from your video testimonial's transcript and synced word by word. Pick between karaoke-style word highlighting (with a highlight color you choose), a static current-sentence style, or no captions. If a video doesn't have a transcript yet, captions wait until it does.
Can I use my own music?
Yes. Upload your own track, or pick from the 11 curated royalty-free tracks across five moods — upbeat, calm, inspiring, corporate, and playful. A volume slider balances the music under the customer's voice, and every track fades out cleanly at the end. Music is available on Pro and up.
What does the Free plan include?
Three square (1:1) exports per month from the text-testimonial templates, with a small watermark. Vertical 9:16 exports, video-testimonial exports, background music, and logo branding start on Pro — and the watermark disappears on every paid plan.
Which platforms do the exports fit?
Every video renders as a 1080p MP4 in two formats: 1080×1080 square for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook feeds, and 1080×1920 vertical for TikTok, Reels, Stories, and YouTube Shorts. One file per format, and it plays anywhere MP4 does — which is everywhere.
Can I save a design and reuse it?
Yes. Save any combination of template, colors, fonts, music, and branding as a project template, and set one as your default — every new render starts from it. Your logo and brand colors are set once at the project level and inherited automatically.
