There is no free plan: the 14-day trial watermarks videos and widgets and holds 15 responses. Their pricing FAQ states purchases are non-refundable. The response allowance is monthly (50 on Basic); annual billing pools it for the year (600, 1,800, or 6,000 responses). Going over doesn't switch the form off at once: their pricing page says "We'll send you an email when you're over… your form does not shut off right away", and asks you to upgrade "to prevent a hold on your account".

Is ReTestimonial a good Boast alternative?
If the response allowance or the missing free plan brought you here, yes. ReTestimonial has a free plan (no card), paid plans collect without a monthly response allowance, reviews sync in from 8 platforms, and the display layer runs to 8 widget types in 64 styles. It also adds the proof loop: which proof is missing, proof matched to each visitor, and which proof came before a conversion. What Boast does that we don't: SMS sequences, NPS surveys, and phone support.
Does ReTestimonial cap monthly responses like Boast?
No. Boast sets a monthly response allowance on every plan (50/150/500 as of October 2026; annual billing pools it for the year). Its pricing page says the form "does not shut off right away" when you go over: you get an email and are asked to upgrade "to prevent a hold on your account". ReTestimonial's limits are by plan, not by month. Pro has unlimited text testimonials and Premium unlimited video, so there is no monthly counter to run out.
How do video limits compare?
Boast records 5-minute videos at 720p on its $59 Basic, 10 minutes at 1080p on Team, and 15 at 4K on Premium. ReTestimonial records up to 2 minutes on Free/Pro, 3 on Premium, and 5 on Business, streamed in HD with automatic transcripts. If you need long-form recordings, Boast's upper tiers allow more minutes per video.
Can I display text and video testimonials together?
Yes. Text and video testimonials mix in the same widgets and walls, with design control for each part of a card. Boast has five widget layouts, each with a Boast-hosted page, and a hosted page for any single response.
How do I migrate from Boast?
