Your Booking.com
reviews, checked
in for good.

Direct bookings are why your website exists — but the proof that convinces guests lives on Booking.com. Connect your property and we mirror the praise onto your own booking flow: the guest's words, their traveler type, the room, the stay — with 1–10 scores translated to stars honestly, deduped forever and re-synced monthly.

Liked: The garden room smelled of jasmine all weekend. Breakfast on the terrace, staff who remember your name by day two.

Liked: Quiet even on a Saturday, and they held my bags and let me shower after a late checkout. Small things, done right.

Pull up to 100 reviews per run — optionally only high scores (7+ or 9+) for a first pass. Auto-approve stays off by default, so everything lands pending in your inbox first.

BThe honest translation

An honest translation,
not a rounding-up.

Booking.com speaks in 1–10 scores, liked-and-disliked pairs and machine translations. Your website speaks in stars and quotes. Between the two sits our translation layer — and it refuses to flatter you. What lands on your booking page is praise you can defend at the front desk.

1–10 becomes 1–5, mathematically
round(score ÷ 2): a 9 is five stars, a 7 is an honest four. The raw score stays on the review — nothing is quietly rounded up.
Unscored stays unscored
A review without a score shows no stars on your site. We never fake a five to fill the gap, and averages only count real ratings.
Liked is published. Disliked stays private.
Guests write both halves. Only the praise ships to your pages — the critical half is kept in metadata for your eyes, and disliked-only reviews are skipped outright.
Rating-only reviews are skipped
A score with no real prose (under ~25 characters) never becomes an empty card padding your wall.

CWhat survives the import

Most importers keep a score and a first name. We keep the stay behind the sentence.

GUEST CONTEXT

Who stayed, where, how long.

Traveler type, room name, stay dates and nights, and the guest's country ride along with every review — the details that make hotel proof believable to the next guest.

LIKED, PUBLISHED

The praise ships. The rest doesn't.

The Liked text is what your visitors see. The Disliked half stays in private metadata, and owner responses and helpful votes are captured with the review.

ATTRIBUTION

The Booking.com badge on every card.

Widgets and walls render an inline Booking.com badge on each imported card, linking back to your property's review page. The icon ships inside the embed script — no requests to Booking.com.

EFAQ — the honest stuff

Questions hoteliers asked before connecting.

Straight answers on score mapping, the Disliked text and what happens when you disconnect — no asterisks.

01Can I connect a property I don't manage?

Booking.com Reviews is built for mirroring your own property's reviews — that's the use it's designed for. Every imported review keeps an attribution badge plus a link back to your property's review page on Booking.com, and we honor takedown requests.

02How do Booking's 1–10 scores become star ratings?

Mathematically: round(score ÷ 2). A 9 becomes five stars, a 7 becomes an honest four — never rounded up. The raw 1–10 score is kept with the review, and a review without a score simply shows no stars. We don't fake a rating to fill the gap.

03What happens to the "Disliked" text guests write?

It's stored in the review's metadata for your eyes only and is never published on widgets or walls. Reviews that contain only criticism — no publishable praise — are skipped entirely during import, along with rating-only reviews that carry no real prose.

04What do I see before anything is imported?

Connecting starts with a live preview: a five-review sample, your property's true aggregate score and review count straight from Booking.com, and a suggested display name you can edit. Nothing is saved until you confirm — and even then, nothing imports until you run the first import yourself.

05What happens if I disconnect the property?

Syncing stops and nothing is deleted — your imported reviews stay on your walls and widgets. The import ledger survives disconnection too, so reconnecting the property later can never duplicate a review. Monthly Sync Now usage also carries over, so disconnecting isn't a quota reset.

06My guests review in a dozen languages. What then?

Each review's language is captured, and reviews Booking.com machine-translated are flagged so you always know what you're publishing. Pair it with ReTestimonial's translations to serve every guest praise in your visitor's language.
