Your Capterra
reviews,
in full spec.

Capterra reviews are the most structured software reviews on the web — buyers rated four dimensions, listed pros and cons, and told you their role, industry and company size. Most embed tools flatten all of that into stars and a paragraph. We mirror the whole spec onto your own site — deduped forever, re-synced monthly.

“Month-end went from a week to a day.”

Pros: reconciliation is genuinely automatic. Cons: the mobile app lags behind the web version.

“The ledger my accountant stopped complaining about.”

Pros: clean exports, sane defaults. Cons: I'd love more invoice templates out of the box.

“Set up in an afternoon, still tidy a year later.”

We migrated three years of books without a consultant. The audit trail alone justified the switch.

BThe four dials

Software buyers don't read stars.
They read the spec.

A Capterra buyer filled in four sub-ratings and told the world who they are. That structure is exactly what a prospect on your pricing page wants to check — and exactly what a screenshot or a copy-pasted quote loses. We keep the dials, the context and the pros-and-cons, review by review.

Four sub-ratings, kept
Ease of use, features, value for money and likelihood to recommend — stored with every review that carries them, on a 100-point scale.
Buyer context that qualifies the quote
Role, industry and company size ride along, so a visitor reading the review sees someone like themselves saying it.
You choose what leads
Import sorted by most helpful, most recent, highest or lowest rating — front-load the proof that closes.
One review, one import — forever
A persistent ledger survives disconnects and reconnects, so the same review can never land on your wall twice.

CWhat survives the import

Most importers keep the stars and lose the spec. We keep the structure a software buyer actually reads.

TITLES & PROSE

The review, headline and all.

Capterra reviews carry a title — we keep it, plus the written body, the overall rating normalized to a standard 5-star scale, and the written date.

Reconciliation is genuinely automatic. Our books have never been this quiet.

PROS & CONS

Both columns, intact.

The Pros and Cons fields import as structure, not soup. And when a review has no body at all, we compose a readable one from those fields — clearly, without inventing a word.

PROS
“Reconciliation is genuinely automatic. Clean exports, sane defaults.”
CONS
“The mobile app lags behind the web version.”
No body text? We compose one from Pros & Cons — nothing invented.
BUYER CONTEXT

Role, industry, company size.

The reviewer's role, industry and company size are stored as metadata alongside the quote — the qualifiers that make B2B proof land.

ATTRIBUTION

The Capterra mark on every card.

Widgets and walls render an inline Capterra badge plus a deep link on each imported card. The icon ships inside the embed script — no requests to Capterra.

DPlan limits

A Business-tier import, spelled out.

Capterra sits in the Business tier alongside Trustpilot, Yelp, App Store and Booking.com — the imports that run on managed fetching infrastructure. Everything else in this workflow — the inbox, widgets, walls — starts free, Google & G2 imports are on every plan, and the browser extension can capture individual Capterra reviews by hand on any plan.

EFAQ — the honest stuff

Questions software teams asked before connecting.

Straight answers on sub-ratings, empty review bodies and what happens when you disconnect — no asterisks.

01Can I connect a Capterra listing I don't own?

Capterra Reviews is built for mirroring your own product's listing — that's the use it's designed for. Every imported review keeps a deep link back to the original on Capterra plus an attribution badge, so provenance is always one click away, and we honor takedown requests.

02Do the four sub-ratings actually import?

Yes. Ease of use, features, value for money and likelihood to recommend are stored with each review that carries them, on a 100-point scale, alongside the overall star rating. The overall rating is normalized to a standard 5-star scale — never rounded up.

03What happens when a review has no written body?

Plenty of Capterra reviews are pros-and-cons-only. Instead of skipping them or publishing an empty card, we compose a readable body from the Pros and Cons fields — clearly structured, nothing invented.

04Which reviews get imported first?

Your call. Each import run takes a sort strategy — most helpful, most recent, highest rating or lowest rating — and pulls up to 100 reviews in that order, inside your 1,000-review monthly capacity. Most-helpful-first is how you front-load your strongest proof.

05What happens if I disconnect the product?

Syncing stops and nothing is deleted — your imported reviews stay on your walls and widgets. The import ledger persists too, so if you reconnect later the same reviews are never imported twice. Monthly Sync Now usage also carries over, so disconnecting isn't a quota reset.

06How is this different from the G2 import?

They're siblings with different papers. G2 import is available on every plan and centers pros, cons and use cases; Capterra is the Business-tier mirror and additionally carries the four sub-ratings plus buyer context — role, industry, company size. Both land in the same inbox and render with their own attribution badges.
