Scroll Story

One oversized quote at a time, snapping into place as the visitor scrolls — a scrollytelling section built from your testimonials, not a slideshow on a timer.

Demo content — illustrative examples, not real customers

This interactive preview uses the same widget design and controls — go ahead, click around. Published embeds run in an isolated production runtime.

Why this style works

Built to convert, not just to decorate.

The reader sets the pace

No autoplay timer racing ahead of anyone. Each scroll gesture advances exactly one story, and a visitor who wants to sit with a quote simply stops scrolling.

One quote gets the whole stage

Oversized type, one testimonial at a time, with the neighbors dimmed and the active story crossfading in. It reads like an editorial pull quote rather than a card in a row.

A rail that shows the shape

A progress rail marks how many stories there are and which one is showing — and each segment is a real button, so the rail is a shortcut as well as an indicator.

It never traps the page

The stage consumes gestures only while there are stories left in that direction; at either end the scroll hands straight back to your page. Keyboard navigation and reduced-motion preferences are handled too.

Where to put it

Placements that earn their pixels.

Long-form landing pages

A narrative proof section between the feature blocks, where visitors are already scrolling.

Customer story hubs

Five flagship quotes as a guided sequence, each opening into the customer behind it.

Launch and campaign pages

Build a rhythm — claim, proof, claim, proof — with the proof section that moves under the reader's own hand.

Live in three steps

From first testimonial to first embed.

01

Collect your testimonials

Gather text and video testimonials with collection forms, import them from CSV, or sync reviews straight from Google, G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, Product Hunt and social media.

02

Pick this style in the builder

Choose the style, then make it yours — colors, fonts, spacing, and per-element design controls, with a live preview of exactly what will ship.

03

Paste one script tag

Copy the embed snippet into any website — WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Framer, Next.js, anything that renders HTML. Publish updates from the dashboard without touching your site again.

The whole integration

Paste once. Restyle forever from the dashboard.

Questions, answered

Everything else you'd ask.

Does it hijack the page scroll?

Only inside its own stage, and only while stories remain. Once the last quote is showing, the next scroll continues down your page normally — the same in reverse at the top. The widget never captures the whole viewport.

How many quotes can a story hold?

Between three and seven. It's a narrative, not an archive — if you have twenty testimonials to show, the Masonry or List families are the better home.

Can visitors navigate without scrolling?

Yes. The rail segments jump straight to a story, and with the stage focused the arrow, Page, Home and End keys move exactly one panel at a time.

What about reduced motion?

Visitors who ask their system for reduced motion get instant transitions instead of the crossfade and tint animation. The snapping itself stays, because that's their own scrolling, not decoration.

Is Scroll Story free?

It's a Slider-family widget, available from the Pro plan. The free plan includes the Carousel, Masonry, Badge and Video widget types — and you can preview every style in the builder before upgrading.
